This make and take class will have participants making their own hardwood coffee table! The class will take place in two parts. In the first session, participants will select the wood for their tables from a variety of domestic hardwoods and prepare them, this will involve jointing, planing, gluing, and in some cases filling cracks. After gluing up their table tops, participants will return the following week to flatten their tabletop, round edges, sand, finish, and attach legs. The final result will be a natural table with a modern feel that is made to match your space or give as an amazing gift.
