Join master carver Ada Klute for a full day of wood carving. In this course you will begin from scratch with a block of basswood and carve until you are left with your own sculpted chipmunk. This will be a detailed piece you are proud to show, down to the very hairs on your chipmunk’s tail.

Ada Klute has been teaching carving for over 15 years and will give instruction at a relaxed paced throughout the day so that participants will learn essentials of 3d carving including; how to design you piece on a block, how to rough the shape of your piece, how to decide on the right tool, and adding detail.

Because this is a full day course, you will be able to carve at your own pace, sipping on a cup of hot cider or tea and feeling how relaxing woodcarving can be.
