This full day wood burning course will be taught by Ada Klute. Ada has been teaching for more than 15 years in both wood carving and wood burning. In this full day class, she will be taking participants through pyrography at a relaxed pace, going in-depth into shading and texturing techniques.

If you participate, you will learn: how to add depth to wood-burned pieces by layering shades, how to create different textures with both the method of burning and different pen tips, how to keep a consistent burn across wood grain, and more.

Since this is a full day class, participants will be able to work at a relaxed pace, sipping on some tea or hot cider and having a lunch break. You will be able to ask questions as they arise and create a beautifully shaded portrait.
