This class is perfect for creating your own hardwood cutting board for your kitchen or make it as a beautiful gift for someone else’s kitchen! In it, you will get to choose from a selection of hardwoods, cut strips to size, and assemble for glue up. The class will take a break for lunch after strips have been glued and clamped while we wait for glue to dry.   After the break participants with flatten their boards and rout the edges to achieve the shape you like.  Finally, you can sand to your hearts desire!   We’ll finish the boards with a soak of food safe mineral oil and a final coat of Moleta Wood Butter.  You don’t need experience for this class – we teach you everything you need!
