Every paddler has a unique and personal experience with nature.   Enhance that experience even more with a paddle you build yourself.

Throughout this 3-part workshop, emphasis will be placed on craftsmanship, attention to detail, the beauty of the wood, and the importance of precision in achieving a paddle that not only performs flawlessly on the water but also reflects the individual style of its creator.  You will work with wood that has already been cut to dimension – you select the variation that speaks to you.

Instructor Jeff Bach has built numerous paddles and his own amazing variety of stand-up paddle boards SUP-Cats

In this workshop, he combines his love and history of paddling and river guiding with his love of woodworking.

Class meets on 3 days:   Tuesday, April 30 from 8:30 – 4pm,  Wednesday May 1 and Thursday May 2 from 8:30 noon.   You may not need all of the time, depending on the style of paddle you build.   We’ll have the coffee & yummy treats from Wildwood Cafe waiting for you!

$210 includes all materials & instruction for 1 canoe paddle.   SUP paddles, $250   Kayak paddles $350

Note that you will be billed for $210 upon signup, additional cost of SUP or Kayak paddles is due on the day of class.
