Perfect for beginners and seasoned woodworkers alike, this class will guide you step-by-step through the process of creating a stunning relief carving of a deer in a serene natural setting. To elevate your artwork, you’ll also learn the technique of wood burning (pyrography) to add depth, texture, and realistic details to your piece.

You will be introduced to relief carving tools and techniques as well as wood burning tools and techniques. You learn the basic carving techniques to create depth and layers in your piece and advanced carving techniques to enhance details.   Wood burning will add shading and fine details to bring your deer and nature scene to life.

By the end of this class, you’ll have a completed, realistic relief carving of a deer in a nature setting to proudly display or gift to a loved one. Join us for this fun and rewarding experience that combines the art of carving and pyrography!
