Join us for an immersive hands-on, 2-day workshop where you’ll create your very own lifelike woodland critter! Using a combination of hand carving, power carving, and wood burning techniques, participants will transform a simple block of wood into a realistic forest animal (tbd), such as a squirrel, fox, or owl.
This class is perfect for beginners and experienced woodworkers alike, offering detailed guidance on carving fundamentals, tool usage, and adding intricate textures to bring your critter to life. Finish your piece with wood-burning techniques to highlight fine details and create a realistic finish.
By the end of this class, you’ll not only walk away with a stunning handcrafted woodland animal but also with a deeper appreciation for the art of wood carving.

Saturday January 18 9-4 (with a 1-hour lunch) & Sunday, January 19 from 11-4.
$100 includes 2 days of instruction in hand-carving, carving with a dremel, and wood burning. All materials, tools, and safety gear are provided.
