Description

In this class, participants will learn to carve and paint a charming Santa Claus ornament from wood, similar to the one pictured. The class will guide students step-by-step through the carving process, using basic tools and techniques to shape the wood into the classic Santa figure, complete with a detailed face, hat, and a spiral-twisted base. After a lunch break, participants will bring their creations to life by painting them, adding vibrant red, white, and black colors to highlight Santa’s iconic features. Suitable for beginners and intermediate carvers, this workshop will combine both carving and painting for a festive, handmade holiday decoration.

Saturday November 16, 9am – 3pm with a 1 hour lunch break

$70 includes all materials and instruction.  Carving knives & protective gear are included.
