Description

In this hands-on woodworking class, you’ll design and build your own custom lidded box—perfect for keepsakes, jewelry, as a beautiful handmade piece for your home or as a handmade holiday gift. Participants will choose their own wood species and the size of their box, making each project truly one-of-a-kind.

You’ll learn essential box-making techniques, including measuring, cutting, joinery, splining and finishing, while working with a variety of woodworking tools under the guidance of an experienced instructor. The class will also cover how to shape and attach a contrasting wood handle, adding a unique design element to your finished box.

Whether you’re new to woodworking or looking to expand your skills, you’ll leave with a beautifully crafted, functional box and the confidence to take on more woodworking projects in the future.

No prior experience needed—all tools and materials provided.
