Wood Turning Candle Stick Class

There’s something incredibly satisfying about watching a rough block of wood transform into a smooth, flowing work of art beneath your hands. In this hands-on wood turning class, you’ll be introduced to the art and technique of turning on the lathe while creating a beautiful, functional candle stick to take home.

Participants will learn how to safely operate the lathe, choose and mount blanks, shape flowing curves, use turning tools with confidence, and sand and finish their piece for a polished final result. Our trained instructor will guide you step-by-step, making this class welcoming for beginners while still offering helpful tips for those with some experience.

As part of the class, you’ll also receive a private 1-on-1 follow-up session where you can return to the studio to turn a second bowl with personalized guidance. This extra session gives you time to refine your skills, ask questions, and gain the confidence needed to continue turning on your own.

You’ll leave with:

• Two finished wooden candle sticks from class

• A private one-on-one turning session to practice
