This end table by Darren Bell was made using a cut of heavily spalted elm. This gives both the top and shelf wandering black lines and coloration of an old map. Brazilian cherry inlayed X’s serve to both hold splits firmly together and to complete the map aesthetic. Contrasting walnut legs have wonderous wavy characteristics and black epoxied knots.
Measures 30″ tall with a top of approximately 21″ diameter.
